Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Llano County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be kept as needed to answer it. Messages remain within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, server systems automatically receive basic technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure how the site is used, including popular pages and exit points. Analytics providers combine traffic information for that purpose. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Llano County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It publishes general directions to records held by Llano County clerks, trial courts, and re:SearchTX. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted to a partner is governed by that company's privacy policy, retention choices, and disclosure rules rather than this policy. Review those terms before running a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Llano County clerks, Texas courts, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows an outbound link, the destination's policy governs. Read that policy before supplying personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking practices are not controlled by Llano County Court Docket.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard safeguards are used for collected data. No internet system can be guaranteed secure, however, so the site cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor will be deleted after a valid notice.
Your Data Rights
Rights may vary by residence and applicable law. The Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, governs covered government records, not data held by this private site. Subject to applicable privacy law, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. A new version will be posted here with its revised effective date.
